Transaction item

The transaction item can also be understood as an item, say for a purchase from the receipt. It is not compulsory to itemise every transaction (it may not even be possible), but each transaction must have at least one line item representing the total amount.

A Category can be specified when recording a line item. The category will help you organise the transaction later, and the selected category icon will also appear in the transaction item list.

The Description is not a mandatory field, but it is useful. For example, in the case of several items, what was purchased (e.g.: cheese).

The Expense switch is on by default, which means that the recorded item will be an expense by default. If this switch is turned off, the recorded item will be treated as income by the application.

With the help of Number of items (a list with numbers from 1 to 10, plus a special one with value 24) you can specify how many entries should be added to the transaction with the current settings. For example, if two bottles of coke are purchased at a unit price of $ 9.99, the Number of items should be set to 2. This way, the coke will appear twice in the item list in the transaction at a price of $ 9.99 each. A handy feature if you want to keep track of the unit price.

In the Amount field, you must enter the amount of the item.

The Add button allows you to save the item(s).
